Stacking bricks with a physical Franka arm.

An individual lab using a physical Franka arm to pick up, move and stack bricks. I defined waypoints to organise these basic manipulation tasks.

01 / OVERVIEW

The project in a minute.

THE OUTCOME

Completed basic physical-arm manipulation and brick-stacking tasks using waypoint-defined motions.

What supports this? ↓
The challenge
Use a physical robot arm to move and stack blocks through a defined sequence of waypoints.
Independent work
Robot operation and waypoint setup. Physical-arm manipulation and brick stacking using a defined waypoint sequence.

The choices behind the result.

01 / ENGINEERING

Define the task through waypoints

I set waypoints for the arm’s basic manipulation sequence, including moving and placing blocks.

02 / DESIGN

Complete the stacking task on the arm

The lab involved operating the physical Franka arm and stacking bricks. It was an introductory manipulation exercise, rather than a new control-algorithm study.
